Vietnam Air Hostess Dance

This was one of the most hilarious things to happen on a plane on its first or maiden flights. Whereas the organizers thought it as a treat and entertaining to organize a fashion show and dance aboard. For its passengers, who really seemed to enjoy every bit of it as they were seen recording with their mobile phones, the Vietnamese civil aviation authority branded it illegal because the organizers did not seek permission from the aviation or its passengers. Therefore they were charged about 100 dollars.

It was actually considered a crime
Although the organizers defended themselves by saying that they were creating a holiday atmosphere, with the beauty queens dressed in bikinis and doing a cultural dance so it was entirely meant to promote tourism and culture. The local aviation insisted that that was against the rules and that the show was not approved of.

Employment Opportunities in Kenya

The Kenyan financial system has practiced to enhanced economic growth in recent years, and the government has maintained an obligation to generating more than half a million new jobs per year. But the country still faces harsh troubles of poverty-level employment—people working full-time yet living with their families in poverty.

Job Classifications and Levels of Employment
We can firstly divide the total number of employed people in the Kenyan economy into three extensive groups. They are:

1. Agricultural self-employed — These are agricultural workers who are not employed as wage-laborers in agricultural enterprises.

2. Informal sector — This includes self-employment in non-agricultural unregistered household enterprises and wage-laborers of informal employers.

3. Formal sector — Formal sector includes the entire public sector, self-employed in registered non-agricultural private enterprises, and wage laborers of formal employers.

In Kenya Tourism is a very important aspect of the Kenyan financial system especially in terms of government revenues and foreign exchange earnings. Tourism also contributes to employment. Jobs in tourism are available in hotels, restaurants, bars, transport, tourist offices, tour guiding, game viewing, trophies and souvenirs and in other services and leisure activities. However, tourism indirectly supports employment in other areas such as agriculture, craft industry, music industry, thearts, money and banking, and the construction sector.

Tour operations and travel agencies: This is the second largest area of employment generation. The tour operators and travel agents arrange travel, transport and hotel bookings. They also organize tour packages. They employ tour guides, clerks and drivers.

Kenyan government plans for increased government payments on roads and water infrastructure at about Ksh 40 billion above present MTBSP commitments. This level of added spending will take up major advance in employment opportunities. It is anticipated that this will create roughly 350,000 new formal sector jobs.

Kenya has sustained to be among the world’s foremost exporters of tea. Moreover, the tea sector is illustrated as a successful incorporation of small holders along with large-scale farmers and processors. Now a day, Kenya has also emerged as a leading horticultural exporter. This is clearly an important area which has the potential to generate huge employment opportunities.

Kenya has a vibrant combination of financial institutions. At one level, sophisticated commercial banks function along with up-and-coming securities markets, with the country gradually becoming a regional financial center. At another level, Kenya has the prevalent network of microfinance institutions in sub-Saharan Africa. This vibrant combination should bring some new employment opportunities in Kenya.

There are a total of 2.1 million non-agricultural household enterprises in Kenya. Approximately 90 percent are informal ventures and 10 percent are formal. In terms of employment, about 5.2 million people total are working in nonagricultural household enterprises, including contributing family workers.

For better job opportunities in Kenya the government has to accept tax and make disbursement policies that will create incentives for savings and investment for the economy to continue expanding and create quality jobs. It recommends specific actions for creating high-productivity wage jobs, including investing in transport and electricity, upgrading skills and eliminating job-smothering corruption.

Clubbing and Nightlife in Saigon and Vietnam

Night clubs in Vietnam are sleek stylish and with the best decor of all time they will definitely make your time in Vietnam worth remembering. The plethora of night clubs here represent a well established entertainment industry most of the night clubs are in Signon district, Ding Khoi, Hai ba and Trang

They are open almost all through the night although the officials try to coerce them into closing by midnight most of them are open till morning. Most of the poor or smaller bars don’t charge entry fee so they sell more alcohol and the ones that are high class have very expensive alcohol with the cheapest going for more than 10 dollars per beer which is quite expensive for the locals so most of the people in these places are tourists or the rich.

The most prominent ones are HoChi min, Bop jazz club, La casa Latina, catwalk club and bar, Apocalypse now bar, Pate chon club , And many more.

Real Estate Development in Vietnam

Even though Vietnam is considered one of the fastest developing countries in the East Asian region and the local situation has never been better, the same cannot be said about the country's real estate sector. Sure, huge amounts of money are rolling in investments and there is always something new building, the number of projects are enviable, making the world believe that the country's real estate is booming bit the truth is that half of the constructed objects now stand empty and unused as a result of prices that are too high and standards that are extremely unrealistic. The buildings are built, it all looks bright and shiny – but who's going to use them?
Vietnam is currently experiencing a housing developing drop of unseen measures. The prices for local houses dropped by 6%, and that is enough for the sales of apartments and luxury houses to drop THEIR prices by more than 30-40%, which is a pricing catastrophe. Hanoi holds over 40 000 unsold apartments and Ho Chi Min has reached the number of 20,000. Nobody wants to buy these apartments anymore because it's become much more affordable to buy a house, no matter how bad its state is. As result, the economy turned into a real mess, banks became bankrupt because they are receiving no income for their loan investments and the whole situation is becoming dire.

The country actually has mountains of potential for successful and developing real estate, but the government is doing a very crappy job of organizing the sector. The system has gone hay-wire and the changes in rates have become so wild that nobody wants to buy a real estate for fear of the future.

Foreigners are not allowed to buy property in Vietnam. It is the result of the still very strict communist regime that is wary of outsiders that can damage the control the state has over its citizens. However, efforts have been made in allowing people from other countries to buy property in Vietnam in a desperate effort to save the real estate sector from completely collapsing. In 2008, a resolution has been released that allows foreigners to buy real estate in Vietnam and the resolutions offers a 5-year test period to see if this is going to work out. But, to date, only 500 foreigners have bought houses in Vietnam. Apparently, they are aware of the bad living standards and the ongoing situation, and they don't want to get caught up on it.

There are still no definite ways to save the real estate sector in Vietnam. It remains to be seen if this resolution will be revised and re-released with better terms for foreign potential buyers or withdrawn completely. By the looks of the situation today, this may be the only option to save the country from collapsing completely.

Vietnam Technology Development

From being one of the poorest and most back-water countries in the world, something in Vietnam happened that turned it into one of the fastest developing country in East Asia. What's responsible for this kind of improvement?
Well, the introduction of the Vietnamese people with computers and the Internet surely helped a lot. The country first experienced it's connectivity with the World Wide Web back in 1997, and is today one of the leading software developing countries. The IT business has become the leading and most popular businesses in the country. Over 35 percent of the population has access to the internet and almost every second person has a Facebook account and uses Skype for their purposes. It's not important that the Big Brother (a.k.a. the communist regime) is watching their every move. The local people are learning about programming and web design, trying to make their profit by creating web pages and blogs that can bring them some kind of profit while the government welcome their effort and support their effort, seeing the prospects and advantages that can turn out of this way of money making.

Other than software, telecommunications and hardware productions have also had a great increase in the recent years. Statistics show that the industry has grown 20-25% since 2001. The number of mobile phones per person in Vietnam is close to 2. With billions of dollars rolling around these sectors, the hardware industry has become an important developing part of the entire country.

More hardware and software developing companies would certainly mean more working places, a higher educated population (most people go to study abroad if they want to perfect themselves in computer science), reducing imports and increasing exports and, of course, cost saving. This development will also increase the overal power of Vietnam, enabling it to become one of the leading tech forces of the world, next to Japan and the USA. This country would also be a first firmly communistic country with this great position.

The Vietnam Technical Service Badge

No war is pretty. It causes grief and misfortune but it also brings glory and respect. The Vietnam War was a very ugly event in both the Vietnamese and American history. As a result, millions of people from both sides fought, bled and died for their beliefs. When somebody proves their worth in any war, including the Vietnam War, they are always presented with a special award that honors their bravery and achievement in the war. For the Vietnam War, the U.S. issues the Vietnam Service War and Vietnam assigned several medals, such as Vietnam Gallantry Cross or the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

The Vietnam Technical Service Badge is awarded to both civilians and soldiers who toke a role in the Vietnam war who performed duties as technicians or any other work of the technical nature and proved they bravery, valor and showed devotion to duty. It was the type of award that was given mostly for actions that took place behind the lines, for assistance or support. This medal is a special way of showing respect and honor to all those who fought in the war, no matter how minor or insignificant their role was, since they stood in the face of danger and weren’t afraid of dying for their country.

The award was divided into 2 classes, with each class having a ribbon of a different color. The first class was for commissioned officers and the other was officers and enlisted personnel. In some cases, this award was even given to foreigners, which is truly a rare and important privilege. The awards were given during the Vietnam War and became obsolete after the fall of Southern Vietnam in 1975. Today, the award can only be acquired from private dealers who trade in military items, and the badge comes at a very high price.
